This chip features a white ceramic package, gold-plated window frame, and a visible die under the quartz window. These early EPROMs are highly collectible and also valuable for gold scrap recovery due to their gold content.

The MBM2716 is a 2K x 8 (16Kb) ultraviolet-erasable programmable ROM widely used in early computers, arcade boards, industrial equipment, and other vintage electronics.
