PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Motorola MC68020RC16F is a member of the Motorola 68020 family, introduced in 1984 as the successor to the MC68010. Running at 16 MHz, the MC68020 was the first 32-bit microprocessor in the Motorola 68k line to feature full 32-bit internal and external data buses, advanced instruction handling, and powerful addressing modes.
It was widely used in Sun workstations, Apollo computers, NeXT systems, Apple Macintosh II, and numerous embedded applications. This particular chip comes in a ceramic PGA package with a gold cap, a highly desirable variant for collectors and vintage computing enthusiasts.
